In addition to studying Nutrition & Dietetics, my goal is to also make competitive diving part of my college experience. Previously a gymnast, I started diving under the direction of my club coach in September of my freshman year. I quickly went on to qualify for AAU nationals at my first meet and came in second place at the New Hampshire State Championships (D2). I won states as a sophomore and placed in the top 10 at AAU nationals. My previous tumbling experience and air sense made the transition into diving fairly seamless. I love working with my coaches but have also demonstrated that I can work on my own. I am the only diver on my high school team and don't have a coach. When my club coach is not available to attend my high school meets, I manage on my own with some assistance from the meet director or another schools coach. I am a team player. I am not a swimmer, but participate in relays as needed to help the swim teams overall points. I hope to be a part of a swim and dive team as I enter the next phase of my education. I look forward to working with college level coaches and athletes, increasing my skills and level of difficulty.
