Brayden Stidham '22 Recruiting Profile

I have found that hard work and determination  are the best ways to achieve my goals.  An example of this is when I set a goal to qualify for the state meet when I joined diving in 8th grade. I worked hard and rarely missed a practice, and by the end of the season, I qualified. Next year, I set a goal to get in the top eight at the state meet, and again worked hard and rarely missed a practice.  That year, I got 8th place. This most recent season, I made a goal to get top five. With the same method, I got third place.  I even reserved the diving boards a couple times a week during the off-season to practice.  I currently have a 3.9 GPA  in school because I apply these same skills. In college, I am looking to obtain a degree in engineering, while becoming an elite collegiate diver. I will apply the skills of hard work and determination in my athletic and academic life during my college career. One of the things that set me apart is that when I have a goal, I work hard until I achieve it.
