My goal is to build on my diving achievements, compete for and contribute to a dynamic team and coach, and pursue my interest in Mathematics at an academically challenging college/university.
The right college will get a driven, focused, and accomplished diver with significant upside and coachability.
I was an OH High School diving finalist in 2019 with only 3 years diving experience. I began working with the OHk Diving Club earlier this year to further my diving skills. I have 2 first and a third-place finish so far in my senior year.
I have been successful in balancing the rigors of a difficult academic and sports workload:
1. 4.0 GPA including AP coursework at St. Xavier, a college prep school in Cincinnati, 34 ACT Score (one test).
2. Placed 15th in OHSAA Men's Diving Championships 2019 (ranked 23rd going into meet).
3. 4-year lettering member of the St. Xavier Swim and Dive team (National High School Swim and Dive Champions 2017-2019). Diving Team Captain Senior Year (2019-2020).
4. Rapid progression- I started diving in 2017, "most improved diver" on St. X squad (2018), State finalist (2019), full-time club diver going forward.
5. 10-year member of Queen City Gymnastics up to 2019. Achieved Level 10 (highest skill level). 8+ year regional competition qualifier.
My sporting experience has taught me discipline, tenaciousness in achieving new goals and skills, being responsive and respectful to my coaches, and being a supportive teammate.
Besides my sports and academic achievements, I am a youth board leader and counselor/volunteer at Camp Ernst, a YMCA summer camp located outside of Cincinnati (10-year participant). Additionally, I enjoy music, cinematography, and am a member of several Catholic-based high school youth and leadership groups.
