My name is Riley Speakman, I’m a Senior at Chelsea High School in Birmingham, Alabama. I’ve been playing golf since Middle School, but I didn’t start taking golf seriously until the end of my freshman year. I spend the large majority of my time at the golf course, either playing or practicing. My best score on my own is 70 while in tournament play is a 73. Going into my sophomore season last year I was shooting 9 to 13 over during our 9 hole practices, this year i’ve improved greatly and have brought my scoring average down to 79.4. I take lessons weekly with my Dad, Brian Speakman, who has lots of experience coaching college golfers, including now PGA Tour pro Nick Dunlap. With my dad’s experience with college golfers, I know what it takes to play at the highest level and I am fully prepared to do what it takes.
