I have always wanted to play golf on a collegiate level. I have played the game since age 10 and play as often as I can. I have been on the varsity golf team at my high school since the 7th grade. I often play in tournaments in and around my hometown of Cullman, Alabama with members of the country clubs that we are members of. The members are always asking me to partner with them. I have always played with older golfers because no one my age plays in my area. When my sister reached her goal of being a D1 cheerleader for Mississippi State I realized that with hard work and determination that all goals can be reached.I also realized with her being older and coaching me on do's and donts that academics play a very important role. I try to maintain a good gpa and keep my grades at the higher level. I was a member of the math team from 7th grade thru 9th grade and stopped only because the math tournaments often interfered with my golf tournaments on Saturdays. I also believe that my character is one of the best around for my age. I dont believe in lyiing or cheating and I strongly believe in hard work and determination to get where you want to go. I dont believe in being lazy and still being able to reach your goals!
