I am Michael Song from Red Deer Alberta, Canada. I am standing at 6 foot 1 inches and weigh at 195 pounds. I have been golfing for about 3 years. I started at the age of 13 and a lot of people told me that my age was a very late age to step a path into any competitive sport. But I strongly disagree and I am willing to work hard and prove them all wrong. I am willing to work twice as much then the junior golfers that have been golfing since they were little kids. I feel like I have great potential in this sport because I started to show big changes and difference very quickly. I fell in love with this sport because it's a very different game then popular sports like, Basketball, or Baseball. This game is an individual sport and every shot/move you make is all dependant on you. My dream is to play college golf at any NCAA Division 1 school and beyond. I am a very coachable person and I strive to be a better player everyday. I am very outgoing and talkative so I will have no problem getting to know new people. I also played a variety of different sports and exceeded in them. I still play basketball as my hobby. I have a great advantage in speed and distance and I personally feel like this is going to help me a lot to be a better golfer and shoot lower scores. I am also on a deal with Titleist Canada, getting equipment support as I have proven myself worthy for the offer. I am ready to work hard for what I deserve!
Thank you,
Michael Song - Class Of 2025
