At a young age I became very involved in sports. I started ice skating at the age of 2 and played competitive travel hockey up until I decided to focus solely on golf in the spring of 2019 before my freshmen year of high school. Playing hockey taught me that you need a team around you to succeed whether its in life, school or a sport of choice! The self accountability that golf has taught me has pushed me to be a better student as I've see this spill over into the classroom. I believe in challenging myself both athletically and academically and have done so by taking honors and AP classes throughout my high school career, while also competing on my schools varsity golf team and competing in local golf tournaments. Growing up I played many organized sports and activities to include soccer, baseball, flag football, golf, hockey and even played the saxophone.
My parents have given me the foundation to know that you always have to look for the next challenge and meet it head on. I am excited about the next chapter of my life and look forward life after high school athletically and academically.
My goal is to attend a strong academic school that will also allow me to compete on their golf team. In the end it will set me up with a good education and allow me to follow my dream of changing people's lives around me. One interaction at a time!
