My goal for playing golf at the collegiate level is to improve and get experience playing at a higher level. My independence and approach to my responsibilities led to me getting a job at a golf course over a year ago. Some feedback from my high school coaches from basketball to tennis and especially golf has been that I adapt quickly and am a very coachable player. My honors class teachers have noted that they enjoyed having me in their classes and appreciated that I was engaged. I learned to be a leader during junior basketball, which then helped me to coach and assist other players on the high school golf team for the past four years and recently lead the tennis team as captain on varsity last year. My golf teammates and opponents have commented that I have a strong mental game and never get down on myself or shut down because of a bad shot or hole.
