My goals is play golf in college I love being competitive and I have the work ethic to make it happen. When most would quit after a disk bulge injury in the back because of excessive side bend in the golf swing, I got to work and after 6 months of recovery I fixed my swing with my coach so now I can play pain free and I can just work 10 times more with no injuries. So my phrase in life and golf is try because what you want to achieve is possible because there is always some one out there that has achieved it so if they can do it me too. So I think I’m different because early on my Dad was a big believer in the mental game and execution so very early on I knew I can’t get mad out there and you cannot give up on a round, you have to know where to aim and can’t be mad about the outcome if you did everything you can control. I also had an amazing coach that was so good that after I had 11 lessons with him he taught me how to hit every shot out of every lie and that knowledge of knowing how to hit every shot it made me feel unstoppable. My character all my teachers and coaches say that I am very calm and unflappable I don’t get ahead of my self and I always try to have the exact same emotions on the course no matter if I sink a birdie putt or I hit it out of bounds. That makes me stayed locked in and more concentrated. Also I’m very known for not backing out of any shot I’m so focused that I don’t even hear the noises of the outside world that make most people distracted. I do well with other people I am sure that others push you to be better and they also give good company and good uplifting energy that is why I love being part of teams. Academically I’ve always been good at it even tho I’m very social and like to talk but once I’m on the course for example I’m a whole different person. In conclusion I think I would be a very good fit for your team because I have one of the best mental understandings of the game thanks to many books my Dad and my coaches and I can bring that good attitude to the table no matter what I also do good in school which makes me responsible and worthy of your team so thank you for your time. Sincerely Alejandro Guzman.
