Personal Statement

I have wanted to play college golf since I was 10 years old, I am working hard on my game to make sure I will be able to play at the highest college level. I believe one of my best qualities on the golf course is my ability to forget what happened before the next shot. My parents have always pushed me on the course that is a game of 72 shots and that bad shots can be corrected with good ones. My Mom pushes me at school to be the best i can and my Dad and his friends push me on the golf course. I have a great group of older friends and coaches that work with me on controlling my emotions during a round and thinking my way around a golf course. I am starting a mental course called FloCode in the next few months that my swing coach thinks will help me finish off good rounds. College Golf is a dream of mine that I want more than anything right now.

Tied for 2nd. Slept on a two shot lead and shot a final round 80 in 25mph winds. learned what Texas wind golf really is and i was not ready for that type of weather .

Winners from the year long tour played in this event . I finished tied for 24 out of 96 players at +6. 8 birdies and 48 putts for two days were my highlights. Had a few ruff holes that kept me out of a top 10. It was a very tight field with +4 getting a top 10. This was my first BIG tournament and i fell like was in the mix

Played really well in this tournament from 6700-6900 yards. Won my age group by 14 shots. Had 10 birdies and an eagle over two days. Shot -1 for the tournament. My first tournament finish under par. Beat the 16-18 age group by 5 and we played the same yardage

I went undefeated in the fall tournaments . Won all 5 tournaments i played in by 4 or more strokes. Stoke average for the tournaments was 75 from 6000+ yards. Won the overall by 9 shots .

79/81 .. course punched the greens day before it started. HJGT not happy with hose course... two holes didnt even have sand. struck the ball very well tee to green, putting was pretty tough. very happy with a 4th place finish. beat all the IJGT kids from Miami.

Shot 76. Started Double / Double and made 16 pars to win by 1 shot. very proud of the way I finished. Missed a few short birdie putts on the back that would have made the two 6's not hurt so bad.
