Alex Mann '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alex Mann, and I am strongly passionate about the game of golf. I have played golf full-time since April of 2022. Ever since I picked up a club, I felt I could do something with it. I have a strong obsession and love for the game, and I want to continue pursuing it.

I made my High School Varsity Golf Team as a Freshman in 2022. I started the year off strong with placing 1st against my teamates as well as being 1st against myself. My Sophomore year, I came out and dominated my scores from the previous year. I knew I had to work hard during the summer and that is exactly what I did. I moved to Arkansas after the 2023 season, which will allow me to golf year round and continue to lower my handicap. 

My aspiration for this game goes way farther than that though. I plan on playing D1 golf one day, with aspirations to play on the PGA Tour as well. I have a long way to go, but I can assure you that I will be the most passionate and hardest working player out there, and any University will be able to see that right away.  In the classroom, my grades have always been solid. I am currently sitting at a 3.8 GPA, I am in 3 Honors classes as a Sophomore and plan to take 2 AP classes and 1 Honors classes my Junior year.

I have great passion and drive to do my best both on and off the course. I will do my ultimate best to represent myself every day in a manner that reflects what any University would want in a student-athlete.
