This journey started 2 years ago (January of 2020) when I started not playing games on my school's basketball team and fell out of love with it. My friend came over and wanted to play golf with this junior set I was given a long time ago. From then on I knew this game was going to change my life, I started to go to my coach Phillip Walker in February, I played in my first High-School season and first ever ASGA tournament season. This was a time in my life when I started learning more about myself and this game, understanding how to practice, manage time well, and a lot of these skills started to relate to real life skills. In High-School my academic goals are to graduate with an Honors cord which is currently all falling into place as I have 2 years of Spanish, 1 year of French, I currently have 2 AP classes, and passed my AP Human Geography exam with a 4. Obstacles I've had to overcome in my life are from 6th grade to the middle of my freshman year my mom had a brain tumor. She's had 17 brain surgeries, and she is still alive and well!! My mom is someone I closely look up to because I have never seen someone as brave, heroic, and caring as my mom. Characteristics I possess are dedicated, competitive, and easy-going. I could really make some good relationships with my future teammates because I'm easy to talk to and love making new friends.
