Jonathan Mcleod '19 Recruiting Profile

    I am looking for a colege where I can earn a useful degree,  pursue golf in team competition,  and benefit overall from the college experience. I am fortunate to live on a golf course where I practice and play after school and on weekends. I compete in the SLO Junior Golf Tour (2014-16), Santa Barbara Junior Golf Tour (2015-17) and the NCGA Junior Golf Tour (2016-17), as our high school does not have a golf team. I am improving weekly with private instruction and coaching at the Central Coast Golf Academy at Cypress Ridge, CA.

I am a social person and enjoy working hard. I am currently the president of our Junior Class at school and serve on the ASB student government. I volunteer at my church as a youth worship leader, and am active in community service. I recently went to Belize on a work trip with my church, which was very meaningful. I also play on our High School Basketball team. It's a great experience and has taught me to work hard at a game and teamwork. I am proud to represent my high school and would be proud to be part of a college golf team.
