I started playing golf when I was 2 years old with my dad and it was "love at first swing." My parents got divorced a few years ago and it was the most challenging event that has occurred in my youth. To go from seeing both of my parents daily to having scheduled quality time and holidays has really jumbled up my life, but golf is the one thing that my dad and I continue to consistently share. Playing golf has taught me life lessons beyond the course; it has taught me to always try my best and the importance of good sportsmanship in all areas of my life. I think it would be great to build a career passing that same love and passion on to kids. My academic goals are pretty straight forward. I would like to attend a university that will allow me to play golf and earn a degree in Liberal Arts/Studies. In the next ten years I would like to be teaching and coaching kids of all ages within a school setting. What sets me a part from other players is that I do not take long to consider my shot. I have the ability to quickly assess the situation and play. Attributes I possess that would make me a great fit for any school both in the classroom and on the course include honesty, integrity, and humility.
