My main goal as I play golf throughout my college years is to get into a D1 school by my Junior year. I truly started focusing on golf around August of 2020. At that point in time I was shooting in the 110s most rounds and my handicap stood at 35. Since that time I have gotten my handicap as low as a 7.3. My golf game is still significantly improving with every month that passes and I have done this all with mostly teaching myself and learning from my dad. I am eager to have a real coach and set my game on a path to become better at an even faster pace. I am also always very on top of my grades and can be counted on to meet grade requirements in order to play in matches.
In the summer I play in tournaments through MAGA (Mexican American Golf Association) and LCAGC (Lake County Amateur Golf Circuit) tournaments which occur throughout the month.
