My name is Samuel Stagno, I have been golfing for all my life. My first memories are me with a golf club in hand, teeing it up on the range. My desires for college are to be the best, I want to break Records. I want to be one of the greatest golfers of all time, and I want to make sure I achieve that. I am different from the other golfers you see because I’m not motivated by the same things they are. I am motivated by losing, being the underdog, and I’m motivated to win. I am motivated to be the best version of myself everyday. I am one of the most competitive people you will ever meet, I hate losing more than I love winning. I am competitive in everything I do, little or big,  I am so competitive that being the greatest of all time  wouldn’t be enough. I want to have the greatest wedge game, putting game, sand game, iron game, long game, recovery game,  anything... you name it, I want to be perfect at it. I consider myself a person who sees potential in the worst, I love being a leader and being looked up to. I am a great leader who will have my teammates back through thick and thin. I think you make yourself a better player by helping others around you succeed. I am a respectable young man who loves spending time with kids, I love helping others and I love making the world a better place. If it means just smiling at someone then I’ll do it, or if it means having to help someone who’s car is broken down, I will do it. My academic goals are simple, I want to study and get good grades, then go play golf at the end of each day. I don’t have time to mess around.
