Cooper Johnson '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cooper Johnson, and I am a senior at Middletown High School. Since the age of five, I've played multiple sports that include baseball, soccer, football, and basketball. During my freshman year of high school, I made the golf team, and I instantly fell in love with golf. Over the last three years, I was named all-conference three times and my junior year I was league MVP. I am a hard worker and dedicated to the sport. A dream of mine is to play golf in college because I want to play the sport in a higher level of competition and learn and grow with the sport. I also aim to get a Bachelor's degree in Business. My goal is to become a PGA member and work in the golf industry. 

I have spent many years in competitive sports and I feel like that has helped me with the pressures in golf. I keep a positive attitude and don’t buckle under high pressure situations. I also put in a lot of work to be the best golfer I can be. I am at the course a minimum of 5 days a week year-round working hard and enjoying the game I love. I have shaved off almost 25 strokes in my golf game over the last 3 years. I think my passion for the game and hard-work ethic make me coachable and an asset to your team.
