Hello coaches and recruiters, my name is Aaron Ponce a class of 2026 athlete that plays 2 sports consisting of both basketball and golf, but I mainly look to play college golf. I have been playing basketball since I was 3 so just about 13 years and golf for 5 years, with basketball I have a skill set that fills the role I most play and have been playing, with golf it just came naturally and I play well except for times when I can be in my head too much but I am working on that now. I tend to shoot in the mid to high 80s, recently I have been trying to perfect my swing and fix the things that are holding me back from being my best self. My goals and aspirations after high school going on to college are to win a championship with my team, strive to have the best grades I can, grow into a man and see what my future holds for me, and to hope make myself and my team known throughout all levels. I think what makes me a good fit for any college-level team is the fact that I always stay positive even through the hard times and the losses, I am always able to put a smile on one's face from a teammate to even a coach. What makes me different is my personality, I have fun when I play, and I know mistakes happen and how they can be fixed. Even though I enjoy it all I still have the straight mentality to win like it’s the only option.
Thank You Coaches!
Aaron Ponce
