Kyle Moore '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kyle Moore, I am a junior at Valencia High School in Southern California. My interest in golf was sparked when I was ten years old after attending Nike golf summer camp. Following that I continued to take weekly lessons at the public course. After my first season on the High School golf team in 9th grade, I wanted to improve my game and began biweekly lessons with a private coach. This past year with COVID cancelling our season I have also incorporated strength and conditioning training into my schedule. I practice on average five-six days a week, and when I'm not playing for my high school team, I compete on the Southern California PGA junior players tour. My family recently joined the Valencia Country Club, and I volunteer monthly to repair the course fairways and greens. When I’m not playing golf or doing school work I play with my dogs and play video games. Much like golf I particularly enjoy games that provide a challenge to overcome because they feel much more rewarding. I am interested in a more personalized college experience so I am focusing on a smaller liberal arts college where I can pursue a degree with a pre-med focus and compete on a golf team to continue to improve my skills and contribute to the teams success.
