Roman Hamilton '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Roman Hamilton and I am apart of the Class of 2020. My goal in Golf is to play at the collegiate level no matter what division. I think what makes me unique to other recruits is my work ethic and the level at which I care about my teammates and their success. My father always told me that you don't have to be the best player, but never let anybody out-work you. And if they know that you gave it all that you had, then there is nothing to be ashamed of. That is my mindset when it comes to athletics, school, and family. My work ethic in practice and in tournaments is to help my teammates in bettering themselves too. Additionally, I play for the Regis Jesuit Varsity Basketball team. What separates Golf from Basketball is the "team" aspect in basketball. What makes team sports so special is that one has to rely on their teammates to produce results. That is what I enjoy about team Golf. Team Golf provides a mix of teamwork and individuality that makes team Golf different than any other team sport I have played. Hopefully, I get the chance to play at a school that I feel like I can better the team and myself.
