Cole Reister '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cole Reister and I’m a Junior at Mullen High School. I am 6’ 4’’ and full of spirit. I made JV my freshman year and gained critical competive golf experience. I was an all league competitor my freshman year and would proceed to make varsity the following two years. My sophomore year I was a state qualifier and competed at a level. We took second in our regional and I qualified as an individual taking 9th place. I also won my first High School tournament at Keystone Ranch, shooting 74. The following year, I competed in many JGAC and AJGA tournaments. I participated in the Colorado Jr. Am and finished 20th out of the 60 who qualified. I posted rounds of 78-73-72 on a very challenging golf course. Following was another CHSAA 4A state qualification by shooting 73 in our regional at Indian Peaks. Even though I didn’t perform to my expectations at state, I have developed more knowledge and experience that will help me better myself in high pressure situations. I wish to take my game to the next level by competing at a college level. I’ve got a determined mindset on and off the course. Academics are something I take pride in and continue to learn harder curriculum and take more challenging courses in order to prepare myself better for college. I am a good candidate for your team as I will push farther then the average player and give more effort towards my target. I am in love with this game and will continue to pursue the goal of competing at my highest level.
