Throughout my life, my parents have always been my biggest supporters. When I was in elementary school, my Dad took me to a PGA championship tournament. That opportunity sparked a desire to learn more about the game of golf. It was my Dad who then helped me to begin learning and playing the game. When I am out on the course, I have learned that golf is a lot like life, it takes plenty of patience and perseverance.
I have enjoyed being a member of my high school golf team. Through my academic studies, I have discovered that I am a visual learner. This has served me well on the golf course. I love the challenge of visualizing the various contours of the golf course and then then mentally analyzing where my golf ball will land. As I have grown, golf has become an important part of my life. Now, it is my goal to work to continue improving my mindset, playing skills, and scoring and extend my journey to the college level.
