Tyler Severin Swi...Personal Statement
I am in my junior year at Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, Colorado. I currently have a 3.68 GPA including a 4.0 the 2nd semester of my sophomore year. I have a strong desire to major in business in college.
I qualified for the state tournament as an individual player as a freshman and sophomore and I finished in the top 50% my sophomore year. This summer I started the season with a 4.4 handicap and have lowered my handicap to a 0.3 based only on tournament scores from this summer. I have included my tournament scores from this summer along with a few videos of my swing.
I put in countless hours at the golf course every day, in addition to the two part-time positions I hold at a golf course and the local grocery store. I am passionate about my grades and improving as a golfer each and every day. I am a hard worker and a dedicated individual. I feel I would be a great addition to your university and golf program.
