Christian Mirenda...Personal Statement
My name is Christian Mirenda and I am a Senior at Heritage High School. I have a 3.87 GPA and take a combination of regular and AP classes. My goal is to be recruited by a university where I can excel academically and athletically. Golf is my passion. I’ve always loved sports, and played many, but my junior year, I decided I want to pursue playing golf in college. I've been playing for Heritage High School since freshman year and I am a Capitan this year. I love the team atmosphere of high school golf. In addition, I play tournaments in the COPGA as well as Summit Junior League. Golf is like life, it’s never perfect, but over the course of 18 holes, you learn a lot about yourself and the course. You grow every time you play and make a few new friends with each round. My dream is to continue my golf career through college and take my passion to the next level. Please consider me for a roster spot.
