Hello, my name is Michael Deegan and I am going into my junior year at Berlin High School. I have been working very hard on my game in recent years and aspire to be a college golfer. I value my academics very highly and I am very good at balancing my time in and out of school. I believe that academics should come first. I am a very good student and over the last few years of high school I have gained interest in the fields of both business and engineering. I am a very respected student in my school and my relationships with my teachers as well as my classmates have helped me get the most out of my schooling. I am a dual sport athlete playing golf and hockey year round and I am able to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am able to balance my schedule very well which allows me to play my sports as well as take 3 AP courses. On top of this, I also believe heavily in the mentality of doing instead of saying. I am a very hardworking person in everything I do. I believe that my success in the classroom and the course have come from my determination to get better and practice. I am very excited for the next few years of my golf career and I hope to gain the opportunity to play collegiate golf.
