2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Golf has taught me about leadership, the importance of hard work and integrity on and off the golf course. My goal is to attend a college or university where I can excel both in the classroom and on the golf course. In 2022 I transferred to Bristol Central High School for my Junior and Senior years and have listed my accomplishments from my Freshman and Sophomore seasons at St. Paul in the text below. I made this transition to expose myself to more elective courses and College-level AP (advanced placement) classes. I’m a strong leader, a team player and enjoy the team aspect of college golf.

- Bristol Central’s Brandon Frye and Canton’s Nicholas Ledbetter each shot a one-over-par 71 to share the individual championship at the third annual Walter Lowell Invitational Friday at Blue Fox Run in Avon. Frye had three birdies on the day while Ledbetter had two. Both set a new tournament record, shaving one stroke off the previous record of 72.

The following weekend in the Men's Club Championship Two Day Qualifier I shot scores of 78 and 74 to make the field of 8 for match play the following weekend. I was eliminated on the 18th hole by the eventual champion that Saturday. - 6500yds
