Personal Statement
My name is Stuart Macdonald. I am from Vancouver Canada. Some things you should know about me is that I have been playing golf for five years seriously and this year will be my fourth year with a full tournament schedule. I believe that the rate of which my golf game has improved is significant. I believe that my skills and overall experience will continue to grow to a level of great notability.
I am currently a senior at the IMG Pendleton School in Bradenton Florida. I have an accumulative 3.19 GPA and my class load includes Honours Psychology, honours British Literature, Spanish 2, and Algebra 3. The school is a private co educational school on the campus of IMG. All the students play competitive sports at high levels, all of which know how to manage time and a busy schedule.
I also train at the IMG David Leadbetter Golf Academy. At Leadbetter I have the ability to practice and play with some of the world’s best junior golfers. By being at both Pendleton and Leadbetter over this past 2 years, I have learned how to manage a strong academic load with my desire to make golf a priority in my life. The time I have spent this past year and this next year to come would/will prepare me to be a great student athlete.
I would welcome the opportunity for you to see me play or follow my golf online and to continue speaking with you. The last couple of months I have been playing my best golf.

April 29-30 HJGT, 3rd of 51 competitors, 72-71 -1
April 4 AJGA qualifier in Innisbrook, I won the first qualifier shooting 68
March 31-Apr.1 FCWT at Mission Hills California, 1st place out of 50, shot 70, 74 in very windy conditions
March 24-25, 2012, CJGA Junior Open in Vancouver, shot 70, 73 for 2nd place out of 40
Feb.18-19, IMG Leadbetter golf tour at Savannah Harbor, shot 72, 72 for 2nd place out of 41

March 5, 2012, I played in the West Florida Pro Golf Tour event at the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota and shot 73, for T17 out of 60.
March 8, I played in the prequalifier for the Transitions PGA and shot 76 for T60 at Fox Hollow. It was a great experience to play these
professional tournaments
Other highlights from the past year include shooting 77,76,70,75 finishing T17 +10 of 155 competitors in the B.C Junior.

- In the B.C Juvenile, which is 16 and under, I finished 2nd of 80 competitors shooting 70, 72, 75 +1. .
- April 9-10 2011, AJGA preseason in Beaumont, I shot 70-77 , +3 finishing T2, of 70 players.
- AJGA Phoenix Junior June 2011, T 35 73,77,72 out of 90 competitors
- The AJGA in Beaumont, August 2011 I shot 77 74 71 to finish T 28.
- IMG tour, I shot 71 -1 to finish 3rd at the Ritz which is where they have the regional US Open qualifier. The second day I was even through 16 but got called because of rain and thunder.
- Texas Cup Invitational, fall 2011 76 72, 149 finished 21 of 80 competitors
- won the IMG Leadbetter Saturday event series, scoring average of 73.3, low round of 67 -5
