Hi, my name is Matt and I am currently a senior in high school. I am a golfer, golf is my passion, it's what my life revolves around. I want to be the best golfer that I can possibly be, I want to be an NCAA champion and play on the PGA Tour afterwards. Personally, I am the late in the day making a comeback type of player. I generally tend to get off to a slow start, but I always turn it around. Compared to other players I am a grinder/ fighter that is NEVER going to give up, no matter how bad it gets I will keep my head up and keep trying. I am also not afraid of the spotlight, I have played in the #1 spot in high school all four years that I have played. For example if there was a do or die shot, I want to be the one to hit the shot, I love playing under pressure. On and off the golf course I am a leader, I like making important decisions that others don't like to make. I volunteer at The First Tee of Lakeland once a week helping out with the junior classes. Golf has had a major impact on my life and I don't know what i would do without it.
