My name is Chase Cutshall and I have enjoyed the game of golf as long as I can remember. I have played in over 200 tournaments ranging from local tournaments to World Championships held at Pinehurst NC and PGA National in West Palm Beach FL. I currently hold a +1 handicap and I am ranked in the top 15 of the class of 2016 in Florida on the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings and 247 in the Polo rankings. Most recently I have a T3 finish that the AJGA event in Orlando and a 6th place finish at the FJT event in Daytona. During the summer of 2014 I won the Florida Junior Tour event in Ft. Myers scoring 72-69 and finished 1st out of 44. I finished 6th at the Florida Amateur Championship scoring 72,71,67,77 6th out of 156 and then in July I qualified and played in the USGA Junior AM in Houston were I scored 75,74 and finished T60th and missed the match play during the playoff for the final 4 spots. Also, in July, I was one of 16 junior boys selected by the Florida Junior Tour to play in the Florida Cup in Sarasota FL. During my first two years of High School golf I have been selected to the First Team Cape Coast Conference. I was the Medalist for the Cape Coast Conference Championship, 3A District 16 and 3A Region 6 tournaments. I have played in the 3A state finals both my freshman (15th out of 96) and sophomore years (10th out of 96). In 2012 I was named the Space Coast Golf magazine player of the year.
Academically I have an unweighted 3.86 GPA and a weighted 4.3 GPA. I am in all Honors/AP classes and in my freshman year was selected to the National Honor Society. My FCAT scores have been in the top 1% of students in Brevard County and in 2010 I was selected to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. In June of 2014 I took the SAT and scored a combined score of 1,300. 660 in Reading and 640 in Math. I also took the ACT in June of 2014 and scored a 30. I will be taking both the SAT and ACT again in the fall of 2014. My goal during high school is to develop both my golf skills and my academics to enable me to continue on at the college level. After High School I am determined to become the best student athlete excelling at both the game of golf and in my studies. My long term aspiration is to one day play on the PGA Tour
