I have many goals for myself which I believe I can reach. Many are in golf, and many have to do with my life outside of golf. In golf my main goal would be to first play golf in college, and later go on to play professionally. Outside of golf I would love to become successful, whether it be in business or whatever I decide would be best for me. I have two brothers who have helped immensely. Both have played college and professional golf. One brother, Colby Beckstrom, played for TCU (Texas Christian University), and also qualified for the 2009 U.S. Open which was played at Bethpage Black. My oldest brother, Joshua James Beckstrom (JJ), played collegiate golf for MSU (Michigan State University), and also played on mini tours around the country.
So far I have enjoyed growing the game of golf through my work with the local U.S. Kids Junior Golf and First Tee programs. I hope to continue to encourage the growth of junior golf through volunteering my time and talents.
