February 2017Personal Statement
The highlight of my high school career thus far was being the co-captain of the first team in my school’s history to win the Varsity Boys Regional Golf Tournament. This was a goal that my teammates and I had and we worked very hard to achieve it. Through this process, I learned a lot about focus, leadership and teamwork. Even though we have a young team going into the 2017-18 season, as captain, I hope to again lead my team to winning regionals and advancing to our third consecutive Florida State Championship tournament.
Through playing varsity golf for the past 7 years (by the time I graduate in 2018), I have learned many lessons, but most of all is the value of time and how to maximize that, whether it be golf, academics, family or leisure time.
I look forward to the opportunity to play at the collegiate level and working towards my degree at a program where I am able to make a positive impact, while helping me become the best version of myself.
