My story is a little different than other golfers I compete against. I grew up playing baseball my entire life until about two years ago. In November of 2017 Dr. Andrews from Andrews Institute informed me that my tommy-john ligament was over fifty percent torn. With that being said, he continued to tell me that I could either keep playing and have to have surgery, or I could stop playing and actually be able to use my arm when I'm forty. While all this was going on a few of my friends had taken me to play a little golf at our local course, and from the first time I shot a 110 I fell in love with the game! Later that month I went to the varsity head baseball coach and informed him that my baseball days were over. So from that day I've worked sun up to sun down to improve as much as I can, and I am still working to improve. I love this game more than I ever thought I could and I will continue to love the game. I am determined to get better and better each day.
Because of my late start in golf, I work even harder to try and improve my game as fast and as efficiently as possible. I believe there will always be room for improvement and I work hard to overcome any barrier to my game. I want to play golf in college because I feel challenged every time I step on the course and I am determined to be the best I can be for my self and my team. I am fortunate enough to have some wonderful parents who have raised me right; so I am a respectful young man. I am always focused in school and determined to keep my grades up. My academics are first priority and always have been in my house. I've always been encouraged by those around me to be the very best at everything I do and that is exactly what I intend to do for you.
