Bryan Lanza '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Rockledge High School in Brevard County, Florida.  I spent grades Pre-K through 8th at St. Mary's Catholic School in Rockledge, Florida and I have been an altar boy and am currently a greater at St. Mary's Church. I have already received my Cambridge Advance Certificate of Education diploma.  I will be pursuing a degree in Engineering and am enrolled into the most advanced mathematics and physics courses at my school.  I have played Junior Varsity basketball, Varsity La Crosse, Varsity tennis and Varsity golf.  I have been invited to participate in the National Honor Society and have been inducted into the Principal's Brotherhood association for leadership, outstanding academics and outstanding athletics.  I am interested in participating in Men's golf at the collegiate level.  I placed 31 out of 96 golfers at the State of Florida state championships this past October.  I have placed many times in the Space Coast Golf Tour and have participated in a number of FJGA tournaments.  I was named to the Cape Coast Conference All Star Golf Team in November 2016.  Besides high academic achievement and participation in a number of Varsity sports my greatest strength is my professionalism and humbleness (no prima donna attitude here).  I don't let bad shots or rounds of golf bother me and have been noted for my outstanding demeanor by all of my coaches.  I am very coachable and generally pick up quickly on academics and athletics.  I love golf more than any other sport I have played.  I am currently a part-time Publix Supermarket employee.  If given the chance to meet with you, I'm sure that you will find me to be precisely the individual I have identified myself to be in this personal statement.
