I'm a very dedicated person, I started playing golf at the beginning of my 9th grade and have never worked so hard in my life. I have a strict practice regiment that I have followed and will continue to follow which helps me improve my game. I've also always made sure to keep a very optimistic mindset on the golf course, I never get upset over a missed shot because golf is so mysterious in the sense that you can hit a horrible shot and recover from that with a great shot. I'm 100% a team player, I always strive to encourage my peers, I have personally helped encourage my team mates giving tips and mental help to all of my peers.
The summer of 2017 a great player on our golf team passed away in an ATV accident, we were coming up to the fall season with so much potential, after he passed away we made it our goal to make it to the state tournament. The 2017 golf season ended up being our best season we've had in the school season going 12-1 in the normal season, and winning the District & Conference titles. We missed out on the opportunity to go to states by 4 shots at the regional tournament.
In the near future I plan to play college golf to get great experience in tournament environments & and hopefully pursue a career in professional golf.
