William Fletcher '18 Recruiting Profile

I have always enjoyed the game of golf, however, it was only in the past couple of years that I have become very serious about my game. My dad has always been a very big part of encouraging me and teaching me to play.  He and my mom have always been supportive of me both in school and in sports. Although my school golf team is very small, I have been playing competitively in tournaments. This past summer I attended  several camps with a focus on the short game. Even though playing golf is very important to me, I am also committed in the classroom. I have always been a leader in my school, and I believe it is very important to set a good example both on the field and in the classroom. I have a great attitude and I am focused on improving my game every day. Being a part of a team is one of the greatest things about sports and if you are involved on a team, it encourages you to do well at school too.  I believe that i would be a good candidate for a college golf team because I am devoted to working hard and giving it 100 percent.
