Growing up I was taught a set of values that have helped me on my athletic journey. The understanding that the job isn't done when you are tired, but rather when the task is complete has made me a better athlete. The constant desire to push myself mentally and physically has lead me to not only become a better competitor, but also a better student. Whether it be in the classroom, in the gym, or on the course I will work my hardest to be better. I believe that if you out work the hardest worker, day in and day out, success lies ahead in your future. My family and faith are two things that I feel very strongly about. My family has supported me on my path through life and have been my best support system. Religion is the backbone of my success. "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." - Galatians 6:14; this verse sums up my goal with all of my athletic pursuits, to share my Lords work through my talents. In college I want to play competitive golf with players that will also push my game further. I want to make a difference in the community surrounding the campus all while furthering my education. I feel confident in my abilities, yet humble in there imperfections. I look forward to advancing on and off the course as student and an athlete to become a better person. I appreciate you taking the time to look into me and I hope that we can grow a relationship in the near future. - CJ Clarkson
