My name is Carson Minish, and I am a 2024 golf recruit from Kennesaw, Georgia. I am currently attending Cleveland State Community College on golf scholarship . I have only been playing competitive golf for 4 years and want to continue to play college golf at the next level level. I am currently a +1.9 handicap down from 8.7 just 3 years ago. I WON the Walters State Fall Classic Tournament this fall and have played 10 rounds in the 70's so far this year at the college level. I WON the Georgia PGA Jr Atlanta Junior Championship with rounds of 72 and 69 for a -3 total on July 24th and 25th, 2023. I have played in SJGT and HJGT events over the past 3 years with 7 top ten and multiple other top 20 finishes. During my current High school season I finished 3rd in the Area Tournament shooting a 75, then finished 12th out of 105 in the North Georgia High School Tournament with scores of 74 and 78. This season I have been competing in SJGT and AJGA tournaments with some others as well. I have over 20 competitive rounds under 78, 8 during my current high school season and the first round of the 2022 GHSA 7A State Tournament. I work with swing coach Chad Phillips at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw. I love the game of golf and practice at Brookstone Golf and Country Club 5 to 6 days per week. I currently have a 3.3 GPA. I have taken the SAT and ACT. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
