As a kid I grew up playing baseball, it was a sport I liked but something I was never truly passionate about, that was until I was 12 years old and in 6th grade. My dad introduced golf to me and suggested I play for the school, and it was one decision that I will forever be grateful as I instantly loved the sport and dropped baseball to pursue golf. As I grew with the sport it only became more and more fun to play as I was able to play with my friends and I pushed myself to try and be the best golfer I could possibly be, practicing and playing any moment of free time I had. I love the challenge of knowing I have so much more room to improve and that with hard work I can reach my goal of simply being the best golfer I can be.
It has been a dream of mine to go and play college golf and to go to a university where I can grow as an athlete but also as a student as I take my academics seriously. I push myself in the classroom by taking honors classes and multiple DE and AP classes, I am also a member of BETA Club in which I help serve my community. I am excited to see what is in store for me in the future as I strive to accomplish all my goals that I have set along the way.
