2022 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hi Coach,
My real break-through came in the summer of 2021 when my coach, Dave Parker, agreed to take me on as a student. He changed my swing and taught me the mechanics of golf. My scores improved by 10 points (before I couldn't break 80). I won my high school district championship and tied for 6th place in the 2A state tournament.
At the end of the summer I finished T13 at the Idaho State Junior Amateur.
I am very coachable and have the athletic ability to change my golf swing, my putting, whatever needs to be changed to get my score down. My goal for 2023 is to shoot 4-6 under par on a consistent basis. I have a good work ethic and academics have continued to be a priority.
From Kindergarten through High School I have attended a rigorous private Classical Christian School. Although I have played golf, basketball and raced mountain bikes, I have maintained a 3.5 GPA while taking 2-3 AP classes each semester.

- Current coach Dave Parker is rated the number one junior golf coach in Idaho. He agreed to coach David in July 2021. He changed David's swing and worked hard on consistent drives. David has taken about 10 points off his score during this time of working with Dave Parker.

- David played basketball since he was 5 years old. After devoting 100% of his effort to golf he stopped playing basketball his Junior year of high school.
