10/25/13 - Named the 2013 Downstate Illinois Jr. Golfer of the Year by the Independent Sports Club.  Awards ceremony at the Lariat Club November 4th @ 6pm.  Peoria, IL.

10/3/13 - Just named/qualified for 1st Team All-Conference.  3rd year in a row for All-Conference.

I have been playing golf the past couple of years after playing all other youth sports while growing up. Last year, I was able to obtain employment at a local course and have playing and practice privileges so I can earn money for college and work extremely hard on improving my game. I would love to play golf at the collegiate level and am open to all options. Being relatively new to the game, I have improved a lot over the past two years (0.1 handicap index as of 9/20/13). My goal is to get better every year, every day! I love everything about the game; from the history, the game itself, the life-lessons it teaches and the great times it provides. I am a big fan of Dr. Bob Rotella and try my best to follow his lessons on controlling your thinking while playing. You will never see me; swear, throw a club, get angry or "act my age" on a golf course. My passion for the game is challenged only by the respect that I have for it. My one promise that I know I can keep is that no one will ever work harder at improving their game than me. I take that same work ethic with me to the golf course and the classroom and hope to excel at both for a very long time. Thank you VERY MUCH for your consideration.
