I would love the opportunity to play golf at a college level. Along with golf, I'm a member of jazz band and a soloist in show choir. Although I've been around golf most of my life, I only got serious about it my sophomore year of high school and through instruction and lots of practice have progressively gotten better each year. The middle of last season was a struggle due to appendicitis. One match I was very sick, and even though I put up a high score, I pushed through and finished and went to the hospital to have my appendix out later that evening. I was out for about 3 weeks and my first match back was also rough and put up a high score. But after that I got back in my rhythm- scoring well at county (placing 3rd) and sectionals. I look forward to the college experience and hope to get the opportunity to continue to play and improve at the collegiate level.
