Declan Grieser '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Declan Grieser and I am a sophomore at Bluffton High School, in Bluffton, Indiana. I am interested in playing collegiate golf and continuing my passion for the game. 

I play multiple sports at Bluffton and I am a member of my church's youth group and Campus Life.  I am approximately 6'3 and around 185lbs.  I have lettered in football, basketball, and golf while at Bluffton High School.  Academically, I currently have a 3.4 GPA. I grew up around the golf course, but played baseball while I was in elementary and middle school.  I also have twin brothers (Gavin and Gibson)  who play golf for our middle school program.

I started playing the game seriously in between my 8th grade and freshman year. As a freshman, I was on the varsity team at Bluffton while mainly playing in the 3 or 4 position. My average per 9 hole round was around 44; however, this year it is 38.6.  I took 2nd place at the Bi-County Golf Tournament at Wabash Valley.  I shot a 72 (+1).  Last week, I shot an even, 36, at Whispering Creek in New Haven, IN.  I think that I am dedicated to improving, and I know that my work ethic and skill will help take my game to another level.
