My name is Matthew Barada. I am a highly motivated student athlete who loves to be a part of a team. I was a member of the NPHS freshman basketball team, and I was also a member of the NPHS JV basketball team. I intend to play basketball throughout my high school career. My first love and true passion is golf. I was a member of our varsity team during my freshman year. Our team placed 2nd in Sectionals and advanced to the Regional. I play golf every day, and I am committed to continually improving my game. I am coach-able, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to improve my game.
I have a strong academic record. I am set to take three AP courses during my Junior year of high school. I took one AP class as a Sophomore (AP Chemistry), and I scored a 3 on the AP exam.
I am involved in several clubs at my high school, and I like to support my classmates by attending their events and activities. I actively participate in school clubs, homecoming festivities and other aspects of student life.
