Personal Statement
Hey, my name is Tomas Giordani, I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m a 15-year-old golfer with big goals for the future. Ever since I started playing, I've had a strong passion for the game, and I push myself to get better every day, both on and off the course.
My college goals are clear, I want to keep improving my skills and strategy to compete at the highest level possible. I’m looking for a team where I can contribute with my experience and dedication, while also learning from coaches and teammates. My dream is to compete in major tournaments and, eventually, have the chance to play professionally.
What makes me a good fit for your team is my commitment to continuous improvement. I take golf seriously, training multiple times a week, staying positive, and working on both my physical and mental game. I’m also very disciplined in school, maintaining a high GPA because I know balancing academics and athletics is key.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my drive to improve not just as a golfer, but as a person. I believe I have a strong mindset and am always ready to face challenges and learn from my mistakes. Even when competing in tournaments, I strive to win, but I also value the personal growth that comes with every round. My teamwork skills and work ethic are also strengths that would allow me to contribute to the success of a college team.
In short, my passion for golf, dedication to academics, and positive attitude are what make me a distinctive recruit. I’m ready to give my best and help the team succeed, while continuing to grow as both a player and a person.
