Personal Statement
I am Jamie Mullin a 16 year old from Hampshire, England I have grown up playing a variety of sports at high levels playing soccer for Aldershot towns professional team academy. I have been captain of my school soccer team throughout senior school which I think helps me in sports as I have to lead a group I have always had a never say die attitude and I know I work strenuously for myself and for a team. I consider myself quite outgoing although am very modest never over estimating my ability. I have many goals and aspirations for college golf I would love to improve my skillset in a completely new environment out of my comfort zone which should be good for me to focus and work hard with a group of new people. I hope to be able to play regularly representing the college which I will wear my heart on my sleeve whenever competing I will give my all whatever the circumstance and all my focus will be put into my golf game it will also give me the opportunity to compete regularly with some of the best young golf talent and play alongside them which will drive me on to be better and try harder I have had experience of this already competing for my county and against them in major competitions. going to college will also give me the opportunity to study business an area I am very passionate with I have always thought if can not succeed in golf business is the path I would like to take as it has so many aspects and variety's of topics which really interest me. I believe that I have the ability but this could be a great opportunity for me to get to the next level in golf and help me in gaining experience and skills which will put me in good shape to for fill my aspirations.
