Personal Statement

I am an International student with dual USA/British Nationality and am easily recognizable due to my height, being left handed and having a British accent! Being raised in England has exposed me to British etiquette and traditions, these are important to me as well as good manners and respect for others. In addition to playing club competitions I have been a member of our Union County Scratch Junior team for the past three years starting from a ten handicap and am currently playing on my clubs 1st team. I really enjoy competitive and team sports and have played Field Hockey to County level. Playing County golf has given me a small taste of what college golf would be like and am looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that it will bring.

I graduated from high school in June 2015 and have now started my gap year. I am preparing myself for college level golf by participating in county competitions and multiple round championships. I am planning to take another SAT test to improve my scores and to take an ACT test. I have wide academic interests including Sport, Health and Fitness and Criminology but I am undecided in my major at this time.
