Jaskaran Sohal '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Jaskaran Sohal,

I am a 6'2, 145 lbs male golfer from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I am a varsity golf starter at Hills International College/Golf Academy as well as a member of the division 1 pennant team, Royal Queensland Golf Club. I have contributed to both of these teams by both playing well and helping younger athletes to get a start on the team. I do this by motivating them and helping them out both in the classroom and on the golf course. I personally have a lot of experience playing golf in a team environment as I am apart of the prestigious high-performance program at Hills International College. This then has enables me to experience traveling and competing in overseas tournaments such as the Asia-Pacific Junior Golf Tour events held in, India, New Zealand and Indonesia. I am currently looking for a college that competes at a high-level of college competition, as well as an institute with an outstanding academic reputation. I am open to all geographical locations, however, I do have a preference for programs located in the West. Ideally,  I would like to be able to make an immediate contribution to the college team both athletically and academically.
