Personal Statement
I am a very hard working and determined sportsman. Golf is my favorite sport and i am prepared to take it seriously at a college level and further then that. I am easily coach-able as i am willing to listen to all critique given to me by my fellow peers and coaches. i consider myself to be a good golfer as i have confidence in my game and myself, therefore i am able to compete at the highest level in college format which would be NCAA Division 1. i believe i can achieve this by working hard at golf and my academics and making sure i take both very seriously. i have the drive and determination to play golf at such a high level as being from South Africa we do not have the facilities that colleges in America do, and these facilities will be able to help my game tremendously as i will put the hours in. i have been playing sport my whole life and took part in every sport possible during high school. although i will be a long way away from home i have no doubt that i will fit in well at any college as i am a very open minded person as well as easily approachable, i am not shy which will help me to meet and make new friends. i would love to be a part of a college and will not take this once in a lifetime opportunity for granted. i will represent the college with pride when on and off the golf course.
