Personal Statement

I have been golfing since I could stand and have always had a natural swing and a true passion for all aspects of golf.  Since I first stepped on the greens, I have aspired to be the next Tiger Woods and my goal is to achieve a green jacket! I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life and be the gateway to having my dreams come true.  In school, I captured the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the Senior Men's Golf District Championships over my last three years.  I was also on the curling, volleyball, basketball and archery teams.  I have been playing competitive golf in the Maple Junior Tour, Golf Saskatchewan and Golf Canada tournaments as well as the Junior Men's Lobstick in Waskesui and various community events. 

I have a high golf IQ and understand the intricate details of the sport, equipment and courses. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working golfers and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

I want to attend a college where I can excel in my passion on the golf course while preparing myself educationally for my future. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
