Personal Statement
My aspirations are to get a full degree in Business Studies and Sports Management with high achievements in each subject.
To represent the college in college golf with the intention to become a pro and make it on the PGA tour.
I am a leader and excellent team player, with a calm and thoughtful demeanour, who is a role model at school and golf and have brought the same attributes to my college career.
I am a quiet achiever who has been selected by Jack Newton Junior Golf and Titleist Australia as having excellent coach-ability, good manners. I am self motivated and apply myself diligently towards all my academic goals and requirements, as well as my golf training and competition. I am committed to performing at a very high standard in all aspects of college life.

Since being in College in the USA, I:

- Led the Blackbirds in scoring eight times this season, earning three top-10 finishes.
- Competed in all 11 tournaments and finished with a scoring average of 77.3.
- 2019 Navy Spring Invitational finished in a tie for second place at 3-over 145 (73,72) My second round score (72) tied my season's best in which I last shot at the Towson Invitational

LIU Brooklyn men's golf freshman Kyle Underwood was named the Northeast Conference's Golfer of the Week. The award was announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon. The rookie earned the team's first weekly honor of the season.
Underwood has been on fire as of late and extends his impressive freshman campaign. He most recently earned second place and his best finish of his career at the Navy Invitational this past weekend, firing 3-over 145 (73,72). His second round score (72) tied his season's best, in which he last carded at the Towson Invitational in the beginning of April. Underwood has lead the Blackbirds scoring for the eighth time this season and continues to be a catalyst for LIU Brooklyn's success.
